Former NDSU Players invited to the NFL Combine
Former NDSU Players, Kyle Emanuel and John Crockett are getting invited to the NFL Combine, and after the careers they have had in a Bison uniform rightfully so. Both players as seniors won an unprecedented 4th consecutive NCAA® Division I National Championship this January. They won more National Championships than they had losses in the last 4 years. Crockett set the single-season school record for rushing with 1,994 yards in 2014, and is currently second on the career rushing list for the Bison with 4,309 yards. On top of that Crockett set the school record for all purpose yards with 2,419, and ran for 21 touchdowns, 2 shy of the school record. Emanuel had an amazing season as well, tallying 19.5 sacks this year, in addition to 97 tackles, 32.5 of those for a loss. Emanuel won the prestigious Buck Buchanan Award for the best defensive player in the FCS. Both standouts participated in the 2015 East West Shrine Game which includes the best players in the country predominately from the FBS. We would like to wish these guys the best moving forward in their careers.
This will be the second year in a row that an NDSU Football Player(s) have been invited the the NFL Combine, last year Billy Turner was invited and was drafted in the third round by the Miami Dolphins.
